And what is the way back? The way is the way of repentance. If a sinner has to come to God by way of repentance then the lukewarm or backslider will have to repent that much more. Repent! Bring forth fruits meet for repentance. Prove it by your life. “If you do not repent,” said God, “I will remove your lampstand.” Certainly. A church in that condition can’t give light to the world. Its light has turned to darkness. God will then take away its faithful messenger and its faithful shepherds and leave them to themselves, and they will go on talking about Christianity but be bereft of it.

Now, sounding forth, this messenger, the seventh angel here, is sounding forth his message to the Laodicean church. Notice his type of message. Now, it wasn’t to the first angel (wasn’t given that), second angel, third, fourth, fifth, sixth; but it is the seventh angel that had this type of message. What was it? Notice, his type of message: finishing all the mysteries of God that are written in the Book. The seventh angel is winding up all the mysteries that’s lain loose-ended, all out through these organizations and denominations. The seventh angel gathers them up and finishes the entire mystery. Now, now, do you notice on the opening of this Seventh Seal, it’s also in a threefold mystery. This one I have–will speak and have spoke, that it is the mystery of the seven thunders. The seven thunders in heaven will unfold this mystery. It’ll be right at the coming of Christ, because Christ said no one knew when He would return.

7 SEALS DIFFERENT FROM 7 THUNDERS

Now, that’s a different from the Seven Thunders. See? This is Seven Seals on the Book, and the Book will not–the Seals will not be released until the message of the seventh angel. See? So we–we are presuming, but the genuine revelation of God will be made perfect in that sounding and vindicated Truth. Now, that’s exactly what the Word said. The mysteries should be finished at that time. And this seven-sealed Book, remember, it was closed here in Revelations the 5th chapter, and in Revelations the 10th chapter it is opened.

7 THUNDERS CAPPED THE PYRAMID

You remember the pyramid message? It’s the capstone. What did it do? The Holy Spirit capped off the individual and sealed it when we added to our faith, righteousness, and godliness, and faith, and so forth. We kept adding to it till we got seven things, and the seventh one was Love which is God. That’s how He makes the individual. He caps him and seals him with the Holy Spirit. Then if that be so, He’s got seven church ages that He’s had seven mysteries that’s been sounded away and they fought for to bring back, and now the Headstone comes to cap off the church. 7 THUNDERS WILL PRODUCE RAPTURING FAITH

We’ve got to have enough faith to be changed in a moment and be swept up out of this earth, and we’ll find that after a while, the Lord willing, find where it’s written.

The–the Bride hasn’t had a revival yet. See? There’s been no revival there, no manifestation of God to stir the Bride yet. See? We’re looking for it. It will take those seven unknown thunders back there to wake her up again. He will send it. He promised it. Now, now, watch. Now, she was–she was dead.

Like many other things I believe that prayer goes hand in hand with faith. If we prayer and believe that what we ask will come to pass no matter how long we have to wait, then there is no way for God to ignore the prayer. “…whatsoever you shall ask in prayer believing, you shall receive.” – Matthew 21:22

Being a young man that was born a raised in the Message, I’ve had an entire life of having to deal with trying to stay on the right path. I’ve also had a first hand chance to learn the tactics of the enemy. One of my greatest observations has been the enemy’s first move. In every instance I can think of, the first move has been to get me away from praying. The enemy weakens the mind and you find an abundance of reasons not to pray, or to pray a faithless prayer. Sometimes you think you don’t have enough time with so much other things to do, or you’ve sin so badly that God isn’t going to even be listening so why bother, and many many more excuses.

My biggest obstacle to getting back to God has been overcoming these thoughts in my mind which is why I’ve come to understand why Brother Branham said the greatest battle ever fought is in the mind. In fact, my very first prayer is always that God would purge my thoughts and let Him have the preeminence above all other thoughts. Once I can think about the Lord before anything else I can then start to prayer.

Many times that first prayer happens when you least expect it from yourself. It can happen in the middle of the night or the middle of the day while at work. With a person truly overrun with the guilt in their hearts and need to get back to God, that first prayer is not planned and scheduled. It just happens when you least expect it. Most times it includes tears of relief and the feeling of your heart wanting to burst from knowing that your confession is sincere and God is going to hear your prayer.

In conclusion, we all know that the enemy is a seasoned warrior and knows what to do to weaken a believer. Since it is quite clear that an attack on our prayer life is one of his first offenses, it should be the weapon we keep most ready for battle.
I would also like to add that any true child of God will feel guilt and fear when you know you’ve done wrong and it seems as though there is no way back home. But at the same time, any true child will know that no matter what the love of our God know’s no bounds and He even came to shed His own blood so we can find our way back. I’m just happy to know I’m one that have found my way back many times because of the blood.

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

100      Sometimes, believers put to the test. Not sometimes; every time! “For every son that cometh to God must be chastened, tried, child-trained.” Remember, the trials, the dusty roads, the hot sun of persecution, but the loyalty of your heart beats that material till she is ready to go into the mold. God’s children is made up correctly on His Word, for they are living examples, and the Word of God living through them. See? The trial comes to shake you, to put you to the very bottom, to see where you’ll stand. They tested, try every son that cometh to God.

101    Job went through the trials and the tests. His children taken; everything else taken. The church members come, accused him of being a secret sinner, and tried to say everything against him, but yet he wouldn’t listen to any of it. He knowed he had met God’s requirements. He knowed there’s no need of Satan trying to tempt him. He knowed it was the devil. And as long as Satan can make him believe that his sickness was his God doing it, he had Job whipped. But when Job once struck that revelation, that it was not God! He was only going through his trials to make him something. It wasn’t God doing it. It was Satan doing it.

TRIALS OF FAITH WORKETH PATIENCE

JAMES 1:3

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

“I know your faith.” Now he does not say here as He did to the church in Pergamos, “you hold MY faith”. He is not talking about His faith now, but He is commending them for their faithfulness. And as He does He also mentions their ‘patience.‘ Now faithfulness and patience go together.

In fact patience is the outcome of faithfulness, for it says in James 1:3,

“The trying of your faith worketh patience.”

There is absolutely no other way in which to gain patience. It has to come by the trial of our faith.

Romans 5:3,

“Tribulation worketh patience.”

How highly God regards this outworking of our patience is seen in James 1:4,

“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire lacking nothing.”

God’s will for us is Perfection. And that perfection is patience–waiting on God and waiting for God. This is the process of character development. How highly God has commended these saints of the Dark Ages. Patient as lambs led to the slaughter, lovingly, faithfully they served God. That is all they wanted out of life, just service to their Lord. How great was to be their reward.

THE EULOGY AND THE PROMISE

Revelation 3:10,

“Because thou has kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

What does He mean by the “word of His patience?” Hebrews 6:13-15. “For when God made promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He sware by Himself, saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” You see the Spirit is speaking about the Word of God which is given to us. To wait for the fulfillment of that Word required patience even as it did in the case of Abraham. He endured as seeing Him Who is invisible. He was patient and then the Word finally was fulfilled. This is the way God teaches His people patience. Why, if He fulfilled His Word in physical manifestations the very instant you prayed, you would never learn patience, but would become even more impatient with life. Let me show you this truth even more fully set forth.

TRIALS ARE NOT TEMPTATION (GOD DOES NOT TEMPT YOU)

12    Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

I want to show you something in verse 7 on the same chapter of Genesis.The Lord said unto Cain, “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?” Does that sounded like a correction to you? It sounded like, “if you do better, don’t you think I will not accept it?” And very often correction is being misinterpreted that the other person does not love you.

And Church is the place of correction, we are corrected by the Word of God.

168 “Children of disobedient” means obedience… Disobedience means “rebellion.” I looked that up in the dictionary, to be sure. Rebellion, rebelling against (what?) the revealed Word of God. Like Cain revealed… rebelled against Abel’s revealed revelation, vindicated of God that it was righteous. And Cain rebelled against it, and slew his brother.

The Pharisees, with their own denominational knowledge of what the Word of God was, selected hand-picked man, rebelled against the vindicated Word of God made manifest for the day, Jesus Christ, and killed Him. That right?

That’s what “the children of disobedience” is, a rebellion against the Word of God.

Now see where they are? “Oh, days of miracles is past. Jesus Christ is not the same yet. There is no such a thing as the baptism of the Holy Ghost. All that stuff is nonsense!” See, rebellion! They don’t have to say two things; just have to say one, that’s all. That’s rebellion, right there. They can’t say you don’t have eyes, you don’t have ears; you got to take the whole body, the whole Word. See?

The Holy Spirit call, “Comes out of her, be not partakers of her denominational dogma,” as he laughs and scorns at the Word of God of this day.

“For God is not mocked,” just remember. She’ll get it. Don’t be worry. She’ll get it. The Bible, in Ephesians 4:30, if you want to put that down, Ephesians 4:30, said. “God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” They can’t mock and make fun, and say these things, and get by with it. “Like bread upon the water, it’ll return.”

NOTE:

Cain shows the progression of bitterness. Rejection brought jealousy then came anger and followed by unable to stand correction then comes rebellion and slew his brother Abel. Bitterness develops overtime from a very tiny hurt feeling inside after a rejection from anyone around you. It could be somebody in your family or someone at church, school or workplace. Anyone could also be God, for people sometimes blame God for everything what’s going on in their lives. It’s sad to say, but it’s the fact.

HOW TO AVOID BITTERNESS?

Love and fellowship with one another, hold no malice and grudges, confess and forgive.

The Seven Church Ages was a mystery found in Revelation chapter 2 and 3.

The church ages is a period of approximately 2000 years. Each of the Seven Church Ages had one messenger who would come at the beginning of every age to deliver a particular message of truth to the people.

The following points was taken from “An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages” -which was written by Brother Branham.

* This was the first church or the original church that was not organized by men, but led by the Holy Spirit.

* Rev 2:6.. Who are these Nicolaitanes that God is talking about?
It was somebody doing something to conquer the laity of the early church. It was some “authority” doing it. Greek: Nikao means to conquer and Laos mean the laity (church).
What was is that God hated that was happening in that church? – What was going on then, and is going on today, its exactly what the word Nicolaitanes means. The people were being subjected somehow in a way that was absolutely contrary to the WORD OF GOD.

* The church is made up of good and bad. Just like the 2 trees (Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil) had roots in the same Eden and had branches intertwined so the church had that same paradox happening. Two vines make up the church. The true wheat and the tares growing side by side.

* Rev. 2:7
HE THAT HATH AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAITH UNTO THE CHURCHES
It says that the Spirit is speaking to the churches. That is plural, not singular. Being led by the Spirit John wrote this not only for the local Ephesian church or only the first church age but for all the church ages.

* The word Smyrna means “bitter, being derived from the word, myrrh. Myrrh is used to embalm the dead. Thus the 2 fold significance found in the name of the age. It was a bitter age filled with death.

* Rev 2:8 – The First and the Last – This is not a man speaking, but Deity speaking. Man (Adam) took life and turned it into death. This MAN (Jesus) took death and turned it into life. Adam took innocence and turned it into guilt. Jesus Christ took guilt and turned it into righteousness.

* Rev 2:9 – I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. – The word JEWS, does not describe the religion of Jewish people. It refers only to the people of Judah. They were not Jews by birth or by religion although they claimed they were.

* In the Smyrnaean Age, Diocletian the cruelest of all emperors launched a terror campaign againsts all the saints of God. That if it wasn’t for the mercy of God all the believers would have been wiped out. The bloodiest in history and lasted 10 years. 302-312 AD

* In the words ‘He Which hath the sharp sword with two edges’ lies another revelation of the Godhead. ~ In the Ephesian Age, He has set forth as the Unchanging God. In the Smyranean Age we saw Him as the ONE TRUE God and beside Him there was no other. Now in this Pergamean Age there is a further revelation of His Godhead, set by His association with the sharp two edged sword, which is the Word of God.

* The emperor Constantine called for the Nicene Council in 325 AD to unite the churches, that is the same World Council of Churches today.

* The name Pergamous means “thoroughly married”. God knew before hand that the church and state would come together. Politics and religion was married together, and the offspring of that union have been consistently the most horrible hybrid the world has ever seen. All the evil ways of Cain is in them (the first hybrid)

* Thyatira means “Dominating Female.” It was the longest age…about 900 years.

* This age was also known as the Drak Ages – 68 millon christians was martyred during this time for their belief in God.

* The revelation of the Godhead to the Thyatirean Age is that Jesus is the Son of God. In the days of His flesh, He was known as the Son of Man. He is no longer the Son of Man, the Great Prophet, Who in Himself gathered together all prophecies.

* “These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like a flame of fire” – His eyes blaze with the fire of wrath and judgement as He sees Apollo (Greek god) revered as the Son of God.

* Luther did not only believe and only preached justification, but that was his major theme as indeed it had to be for that is the basic doctrine of the Word.

* Luther’s message was “THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”

* God used Luther to bring to the people God’s standard against works – “The just shall live by faith”

* Martin Luther was a reformer, not a prophet. Though the history books call him a prophet of God there is not record qualifying him as such in the grand Scriptural sense of the word.

* The seven Spirits of God mean it is the one and same Spirit coming forth in a seven fold way. Similar to 1 Corintians 12:8-11

* The seven Spirits refer to Holy Ghost filled men. The seven messengers (seven stars and seven spirits.)

* THE SEVEN SPIRITS ACTUALLY REFER TO THE ONE SPIRIT OF GOD WORKING OUT THE WILL AND WORD OF GOD IN DIFFERENT GENERATIONS.

* This era -gave rise to denominations. And this era did not have the signs and wonders among them. They gave up the power of God for the power of the state.

* The breaking away of the denominations was more a political move than it was a spiritual move. It was like the children of Israel wondering in the wilderness 40 years, and not making it to Canaan Land. However it stuck a blow to the Roman church.

* The Sardisean Age was a reformation instead of a restoration. Had it been a restoration age, it would of been another Pentecostal Age, but it was not.

* This age had justification, but it had missed sanctification and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

* The Sardisean Age had the written Word but not the revealed Word. This Age was unfaithful..and God said “For I have not found thy works perfect before God” (not perfect-unfaithful) – That is why the Bible called it Reformation and not restoration. This age was setting the stage (justification)

* It started out in the doctrine of justification which meant salvation was all of God.

* Philadelphia means ‘love thy brethren’

* The ‘open door’ signifies the tremendous missionary effort of that age. Paul refered to a new missionary endevour for the Lord an open door – 2 Corintians 2:12

* The people of the sixth age had great patience and quietness compared to the seventh church age where there is great over-impatience and haste.

* God kept the people of the sixth age from “the hour of temptation which shall come upon the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”

* Laodicea means “people’s rights.” The Laodiceans worshipped Zeus.

* The messenger to the Laodicean Church Age – William Marrion Branham. This age will only have ONE Prophet-Messenger…Rev 10-7 “When he (singular) shall begin to sound.”
